Description

Expanding Thoughts on de Sitter is an invitation-only, discussion-driven workshop bringing together postdoctoral researchers working on complementary aspects of de Sitter—from the string landscape and cosmological correlators to approaches to quantum gravity in positively curved spacetimes. The program features informal blackboard talks at the beginning of each day and extended discussion sessions for the rest of the day, where open problems will be presented and discussed among the participants. The objective is to bridge three different communities working on the same topic and sharing the same goal: understanding the features of de Sitter spacetime.

The workshop will take place at La Ricotta Cultural Association. The Association’s purpose is to promote rural areas as a dynamic setting for active living and, in that context, to promote culture and bring it closer to the public, seeking to eliminate cultural barriers that, consciously or unconsciously, impose gender- and social-background-based limitations on both access and interest.
