Description
For small volumes, minimal clusters in a compact Riemannian manifold are known to be connected, and to approximate their Euclidean counterparts when the volume constraint tends to 0. The same holds for Finsler manifolds "with fixed norm". We discuss what can happen in a general Finsler manifold, and show that the picture changes even for compact manifolds with smooth and reversible structures.
This talk is based on a joint work with Aldo Pratelli.
