Abstract Submission

All abstracts must be submitted through the conference submission site by the abstract deadline of January 1, 2026.

The submission form is available: here

Submitters can choose to have their submission reviewed for either a talk or a poster presentation. If you select "talk" and your abstract is not accepted for that format, it will automatically be considered for a poster presentation.

The abstract should provide a brief and concise summary of the background and motivation for the study, the methods used, the results obtained, and the conclusions drawn, including the significance of the findings. We encourage authors to utilise the maximum space available in the submission to thoroughly describe their work and results, as a well-articulated presentation increases the chances of a positive evaluation.

The SSBSS program committee will review all submissions and will accept those for either oral or poster presentation, or reject them if they do not meet the conference's scientific standards. Due to limited availability for oral presentations, abstracts may be submitted for either format.

The SSBSS organisers will announce the times for oral presentations once the acceptance notifications have been sent out.

Accepted abstracts will be included in the conference proceedings.

Presenters of accepted abstracts for oral presentations are required to present their work themselves and must register and pay to attend the conference.
